Public University Admissions

France is home to some of the world’s most respected public universities, offering affordable, high-quality education for international students. Tuition fees at public universities typically start from around €250 per year and can go up to approximately €4,000 depending on the program, degree level, and student nationality.

Applications for most public universities generally open between October and December for the September intake, which is the primary intake available in the public university system. Due to limited intake periods and competitive timelines, early preparation is strongly recommended.

Private School Admissions

France’s private schools and Grandes Écoles offer a wide range of internationally recognized programs in business, management, luxury, engineering, hospitality, data science, and more. Unlike public universities, private institutions often provide multiple intakes, including both January and September intakes depending on the program.

Dimensions France works with more than 120 partner schools across France and helps students identify programs that align with their academic background, career goals, and budget. Through our partnerships, students may also benefit from application fee waivers at selected institutions.

Private school applications are generally more flexible and remain open until May or June for many September intakes, though timelines can vary by institution and program. Our team supports students through shortlisting, applications, interviews, admissions follow-up, and enrollment procedures from start to finish.
